Birthday Month Celebration

A birthday may seem like a small occasion, but for our elderly residents, it is still a day worth celebrating.

At Agileness Home Care Centre in Penang, whenever we have residents celebrating their birthday that month, we will prepare a small birthday celebration for them. Nothing too big or complicated. We simply want to make the day feel a little different from an ordinary day.

We prepare a birthday cake, gather our residents together and sing Happy Birthday to the birthday resident. There are smiles, laughter, clapping and sometimes a little bit of singing that is not exactly in tune but that is part of the fun.

A Simple Birthday Celebration

Our birthday celebrations are kept simple because the main purpose is not to organise a big party. It is about making our elderly residents feel remembered and appreciated.
