At Agileness Home Care Centre, we like to give our residents different activities to enjoy throughout the week. Our Movie Session is one of the simple activities where residents can sit back, relax and enjoy some time together.
We have a comfortable air-conditioned indoor space with a projector, where our residents can watch movies together in a relaxed setting. It gives them a nice change from their usual daily routine and a chance to spend some enjoyable time with their friends and caregivers.
We choose movies that are suitable for our elderly residents and set up the projector before the session starts. Residents can sit comfortably in the air-conditioned space and enjoy the movie together.

Some residents may enjoy following the story, while others may simply like watching, listening to the music or chatting with friends during the session.
Our caregivers are also around to assist residents who need help getting comfortable or settling into their seats.
Movie time is not only about watching a movie. It also gives residents a chance to sit together and interact.
Sometimes a familiar movie, song or actor can remind them of their younger days and bring up old memories. It can lead to conversations between residents and caregivers, making the session more enjoyable.
For seniors staying in an old folks home in Penang or nursing home, having different activities throughout the week can help make their daily routine less repetitive.
Along with our morning exercise from 7:30am to 9:00am and afternoon activities from 1:00pm to 3:00pm, our movie sessions give residents another way to spend their free time.
